Wisconsin High School Basketball - Prentice winner over Butternut
February 13, 2024: Butternut, WI 54514 The Prentice Buccaneers (Prentice, WI) basketball felled the host Butternut Midgets (Butternut, WI), 57-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers (10-14) will now prepare for their test against Athens (Athens, WI). The Bluejays go into the Marawood - North test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Athens was beaten by Pittsville (Pittsville, WI), 52-46, in a non-league test.
The Midgets now own a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to Drummond for a Northern Lights test on Thursday, February 15. Butternut will encounter a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 70-63 league win over South Shore (Port Wing, WI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 18-5.
