Iowa High School Basketball - Cascade fells West Liberty
November 28, 2023: Cascade, IA 52033 Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Liberty Comets (West Liberty, IA), 43-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cascade upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Maquoketa lost 66-60 in their recent non-league bout against Regina (Iowa City, IA)
Next up, the Comets play the Easton Valley (Preston, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. West Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 77-7 non-league loss to North Linn (Troy Mills, IA).
