Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) and the host South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME), saw Thornton Academy's baseball squad beat South Portland by a margin of 6-4.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a Class A South battle, on Thursday, May 12. Thornton Academy will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Scots enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 5-4 league win over Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME).

The Red Riots now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennebunk for a Class A South battle on Monday, May 16. South Portland will play a Rams squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Noble (Berwick, ME). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
