Ohio High School Basketball - Green trounces Firestone
February 15, 2022: Akron, OH 44313 The Green Bulldogs (Uniontown, OH) basketball crushed the host Firestone Falcons (Akron, OH), 69-48 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (19-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, St. Ignatius walloped Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH), 57-38, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Washington for a non-league test on Friday, February 18. Firestone will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 45-44 non-league loss to Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 9-10.
