Michigan High School Basketball - Edison Academy trounces Williamston
January 24, 2023: Williamston, MI 48895 The Edison Academy Pioneers (Detroit, MI) basketball crushed the host Williamston Hornets (Williamston, MI), 67-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Cass Tech (Detroit, MI). The Technicians go into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Cass Tech was trounced by Renaissance (Detroit, MI), 50-46, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host St. Johns for a Capital Area - Red test on Friday, January 27. Williamston will encounter a Redwings squad coming off a 56-29 non-league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, MI). The Redwings record now stands at 7-6.
