The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons basketball team (Wilcox, NE), was overwhelmed 63-41 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE)

The Cardinals now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwest for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 14. Alma will confront a Roughriders team coming off a 44-38 non-league win over Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE). The Roughriders record now stands at 2-3.

The Falcons (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE). The Warriors come into the D2 District 8 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Red Cloud was overwhelmed by Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE), 61-42, in a non-league battle.
