The Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX) softball routed the visiting Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX), 20-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Steers (9-9) will now prepare for their bout against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region I District 5 bout with a 10-8 record. In their last bout, Sweetwater toppled Snyder (Snyder, TX), 6-4, in a league bout.
