The North Central Eagles (Pioneer, OH) basketball nipped the host Liberty Center Tigers (Liberty Center, OH), 44-41 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Hilltop (West Unity, OH). The Cadets go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Hilltop was tipped by Stryker (Stryker, OH), 39-37, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Edgerton for a non-league test on Thursday, December 9. Liberty Center will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 30-25 non-league win over Archbold (Archbold, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
