Iowa High School Basketball - Spirit Lake can't hold off Western Christian
February 6, 2024: Spirit Lake, IA 51360 The Western Christian Wolfpack basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Spirit Lake Indians to 57 in the Wolfpack league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolfpack now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sioux Falls Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Western Christian will battle a Chargers team coming off a 61-53 non-league win over Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 15-0.
The Indians (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA). The E'Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Emmetsburg was nudged by Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA), 68-52, in a non-league contest.
