With the win, Jay upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Harlan (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Hawks in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-9.

With the defeat, Holmes falls to 4-8 on the season. The Huskies host Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Apaches in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 13.
