Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Charles trounces Kenyon-Wanamingo
December 21, 2017: Kenyon, MN 55946 The St. Charles Fighting Saints (St. Charles, MN) basketball crushed the host Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights (Kenyon, MN), 63-38 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Fighting Saints (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Lewiston-Altura was trounced by Caledonia (Caledonia, MN), 68-45, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zumbrota-Mazeppa for a Hiawatha Valley - Blue contest on Friday, December 22. Kenyon-Wanamingo will battle a Cougars team coming off a 46-36 non-league win over Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 7-3.
