The Clinton Maroons basketball team (Clinton, IL), was nudged 39-35 in Friday's league battle with the host Tuscola Warriors (Tuscola, IL)

The Warriors now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schlarman for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Tuscola will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 60-27 league loss to Iroquois West (Gilman, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 5-11.

The Maroons (18-5) will now prepare for their battle against Edinburg (Edinburg, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-9 record.
