Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA), 74-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Conemaugh Township upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Indians host North Star (Boswell, PA) to clash with the Cougars in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern bout on Friday, January 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-7. North Star won 51-35 in their recent league bout against Portage (Portage, PA)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Conemaugh Valley Bluejays (Johnstown, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern bout, on Monday, January 8. Blacklick Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 59-52 league win over Ferndale (Johnstown, PA).
