In Friday's league game, the Troy Trojans (Troy, PA) football team smashed the host Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA), by a score of 37-0.

The Trojans (7-0) will now prepare for their game against Northwest Area (Shickshinny, PA). The Rangers come into the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Northwest Area overwhelmed Sayre (Sayre, PA), 44-28, in a non-league game.

The Black Knights now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hughesville for a non-league game on Friday, October 13. Towanda will meet a Spartans team coming off a 54-14 league loss to Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.
