St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds (Gaylord, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Forest Area Warriors (Fife Lake, MI), 54-44 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Mary Cathedral upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Snowbirds travel to Pellston (Pellston, MI) to play the Hornets in a Ski-Valley bout on Friday, December 8. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Pellston lost 74-31 in their recent league bout against Onaway (Onaway, MI)
