The Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) football defeated the visiting New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), 42-28 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Rangers face the Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 15. Smithson Valley will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a 9-1 record after their 49-14 league win over Anderson (Austin, TX).
