October 9, 2009: Richmond, VA 23229 The Collegiate Cougars football team (Richmond, VA), was beaten 41-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Woodberry Forest Tigers (Woodberry Forest, VA)
The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Landon (Bethesda, MD). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Landon achieved victory over Episcopal (Alexandria, VA), 33-20, in a league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Anne's-Belfield for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 16. Collegiate will meet a Saints team coming off a 26-7 non-league win over Virginia Episcopal (Lynchburg, VA). The Saints record now stands at 2-3.
