Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cony Rams (Augusta, ME), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Academy for a Class B South challenge on Thursday, May 18. Gardiner will face a Eagles squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Belfast (Belfast, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Cony falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Oceanside (Rockland, ME) to face the Mariners in a Class B North challenge on Friday, May 19. The Mariners enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Oceanside won 23-7 in their recent league challenge against Waterville (Waterville, ME)
