Maine High School Softball - Cony bounces Lincoln Academy
May 13, 2023: Newcastle, ME 04553 The Cony Rams routed the host Lincoln Academy Eagles softball squad by a final score of 13-8 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Rams (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Waterville (Waterville, ME). The Panthers go into the Class B North battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Waterville was routed by Lawrence (Fairfield, ME), 31-0, in a league battle.
The Eagles now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Morse for a Class B South battle on Monday, May 15. Lincoln Academy will confront a Shipbuilders squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME). The Shipbuilders record now stands at 7-3.
