Maine High School Softball - Lincoln Academy bounces Belfast
May 6, 2023: Belfast, ME 04915 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) and the host Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME), saw Lincoln Academy's softball squad nip Belfast by a count of 9-3.
The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oceanside for a non-league match on Monday, May 8.
With the loss, Belfast falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Winslow (Winslow, ME) to face the Black Raiders in a Class B North match on Monday, May 8. The Black Raiders enter the match with a record of 3-3. Winslow won 15-0 in their recent league match against Waterville (Waterville, ME)
