In Friday's league game, the Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) football team smashed the host Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA), by a score of 56-21.

The Comets (8-1) will now prepare for their game against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans come into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, North Pocono overwhelmed Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA), 26-7, in a league game.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hazleton Area for a non-league game on Friday, October 28. Berwick will meet a Cougars team coming off a 28-14 league win over Williamsport (Williamsport, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-2.
