The Bogue Chitto Bobcats baseball squad (Bogue Chitto, MS), was overwhelmed 12-4 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Loyd Star Hornets (Brookhaven, MS)

With the win, Loyd Star upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Hornets host Enterprise (Brookhaven, MS) to battle the Yellowjackets in a 2A Region 7 test on Tuesday, March 27. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 9-7. Enterprise won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS)

With the defeat, Bogue Chitto falls to 6-6 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Cathedral (Natchez, MS) to battle the Green Wave in a 1A Region 7 test on Tuesday, March 27. The Green Wave come into the test with a record of 5-6. Cathedral lost 9-7 in their recent non-league test against North Pike (Summit, MS)
