The Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) basketball nipped the host Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT), 45-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Nighthawks go into the Southwest - Colonial test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Newtown got by Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT), 61-50, in a non-league test.
