Texas High School Basketball - Elgin can't hold off McCallum

November 17, 2022: Elgin, TX 78621

The McCallum Knights basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Elgin Wildcats to 35 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lampasas for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 17. McCallum will battle a Badgers team coming off a 56-55 non-league win over Killeen (Killeen, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 4-4.

The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Akins (Austin, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Akins nudged Crockett (Austin, TX), 37-33, in a non-league contest.
