Texas High School Football - Northwest smashes Saginaw

The Northwest Texans (Justin, TX) football routed the visiting Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX), 63-12 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Texans face the Crowley Eagles (Crowley, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, October 15. Northwest will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 38-21 league loss to Azle (Azle, TX).

The Rough Riders (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 5A-1 Region I District 3 game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Arlington Heights was ripped by Cooper (Abilene, TX), 43-0, in a league game.
