The Hudson Explorers (Hudson, OH) football defeated the visiting North Royalton Bears (North Royalton, OH), 31-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Explorers face the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in a Suburban - National bout, on Friday, October 5. Hudson will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Black Tigers enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 42-0 league loss to Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH).

The Bears (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH). The Grizzlies enter the Suburban - National bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Wadsworth defeated Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), 42-0, in a league bout.
