The Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) football overcame the visiting Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS), 25-14 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers face the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 5. Morton will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record.

The Yellowjackets (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against West Marion (Foxworth, MS). The Trojans enter the non-league bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, West Marion thwarted St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS), 45-24, in a league bout.
