Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) and the host Amory Panthers (Amory, MS), saw Ripley's basketball squad wallop Amory by a tally of 53-27.

With the victory, Ripley improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Falkner (Falkner, MS) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Falkner won 47-38 in their recent league challenge against Ashland (Ashland, MS)

Next up, the Panthers confront the New Site Royals (New Site, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Amory will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 53-20 non-league win over Mooreville (Mooreville, MS).
