The Gaston Day Spartans (Gastonia, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Tabernacle Christian Conquerors (Hickory, NC), 84-42 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Piedmont Community Charter was trounced by Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 102-76, in a non-league test.

The Conquerors now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Vandalia Christian for a NCCSA AA West Region 2 test on Tuesday, November 14.
