October 8, 2021: Amarillo, TX 79102 The Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX) football overcame the visiting Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX), 34-22 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 2 game, on Thursday, October 14. Tascosa will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Longhorns come into the game with a 2-5 record after their 28-7 league win over Monterey (Lubbock, TX).
The Sandies now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Coronado for a 5A-1 Region I District 2 game on Friday, October 15. Amarillo will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 49-6 league win over Lubbock (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.
