April 21, 2022: Florence, AL 35630 The Florence Falcons (Florence, AL) soccer nipped the visiting Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL), 1-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Florence moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Falcons host Austin (Decatur, AL) to battle the Black Bears in a 7A Area 8 bout on Monday, April 25. The Black Bears enter the bout with a record of 14-5. Austin lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Bob Jones (Madison, AL)
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Tanner Rattlers (Tanner, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 3. Tharptown will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Rattlers enter the bout with a 15-5 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Ardmore (Ardmore, AL).
