Illinois High School Basketball - El Paso-Gridley holds off Tri-Valley
February 11, 2022: El Paso, IL 61738 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) and the visiting Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL), saw El Paso-Gridley's basketball squad hold off Tri-Valley by a tally of 37-34.
With the victory, El Paso-Gridley improves its record to 24-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL) to confront the Chiefs in a Heart of Illinois challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 15-12. Deer Creek-Mackinaw lost 45-36 in their recent league challenge against LeRoy (LeRoy, IL)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL) in a Heart of Illinois challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Tri-Valley will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record. The Bunnies come into the challenge with a 3-19 record after their 56-26 non-league win over Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL).
