The Ridgeview Mustangs basketball team (Colfax, IL), was toppled 43-34 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL)

The Vikings now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 22. Tri-Valley will confront a Falcons team coming off a 45-37 non-league win over Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 8-11.

The Mustangs (2-20) will now prepare for their battle against Lexington (Lexington, IL). The Minutemen come into the Heart of Illinois battle with a 13-9 record. In their last outing, Lexington was beaten by Heyworth (Heyworth, IL), 59-46, in a non-league outing.
