December 3, 2021: Burbank, CA 91506 The Hoover Tornados basketball team (Glendale, CA), was overwhelmed 76-51 in Friday's league battle with the host Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA)
The Bears now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 4. Burroughs will confront a Warriors team coming off a 68-49 non-league win over Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-1.
The Tornados (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Arcadia (Arcadia, CA). The Apaches come into the Pacific battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Arcadia was overwhelmed by St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA), 57-56, in a non-league battle.
