Jonesboro Eagles (Jonesboro, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Itasca Wampus Cats (Itasca, TX), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meridian for a 1A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, April 12. Jonesboro will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Hico (Hico, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-3.
