September 16, 2011: Meridian, MS 39305 The Northeast Lauderdale Trojans football team (Meridian, MS), was beaten 28-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Philadelphia Tornadoes (Philadelphia, MS)
The Tornadoes (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Leflore County achieved victory over Gentry (Indianola, MS), 18-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morton for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 23. Northeast Lauderdale will meet a Panthers team coming off a 19-17 non-league win over West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
