The Highland Park Hornets basketball team (Amarillo, TX), was overwhelmed 68-32 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Canadian Wildcats (Canadian, TX)

The Wildcats now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Road for a 3A Region I District 1 battle on Tuesday, February 13.

The Hornets (3-16) will now prepare for their battle against Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Leopards come into the non-league battle with a 10-16 record.
