The East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) volleyball nudged the visiting Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, East Gaston betters its record to 2-0 on the year. The Warriors host Highland School of Technology (Gastonia, NC) to face the Rams in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 22. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 1-1.

The Jaguars now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Clover for a non-league outing on Monday, August 26.
