The Taft School Big Red crushed the visiting Kent School Lions baseball team by a tally of 9-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Big Red now hold a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westminster School for a Founders bout on Thursday, May 9. Taft School will face a Martlets team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA). The Martlets record now stands at 14-5.

Next, the Lions face the Canterbury School Saints (New Milford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 10. Kent School will attempt to advance on its 2-12 season record. The Saints enter the bout with a 12-4 record after their 12-1 league win over Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA).
