The Middle Creek Mustangs basketball team (Apex, NC), dropped 76-60 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Cary Imps (Cary, NC)

The Imps now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Athens Drive for a Southwest Wake 4A battle on Tuesday, December 15. Cary will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 67-53 league loss to Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-6.

The Mustangs (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks come into the Southwest Wake 4A battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Holly Springs prevailed over Fuquay-Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 62-50, in a league battle.
