Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mount Union can't hold off West Branch

December 17, 2021: Morrisdale, PA 16858

The West Branch Warriors basketball team scored 30 points and held the visiting Mount Union Trojans to 26 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Juniata Valley for a Inter County - North contest on Monday, December 20. West Branch will battle a Hornets team coming off a 55-28 league loss to Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA). The Blue Pirates enter the Inter County - North contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Williamsburg nudged Glendale (Flinton, PA), 55-52, in a league contest.
