The Hiram Hornets basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Carrollton Trojans to 57 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10.

The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Oxford was nudged by Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL), 63-43, in a non-league contest.
