The Huss Huskies basketball team (Gastonia, NC), was nudged 46-45 in Friday's league battle with the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC)

The Wildcats now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincolnton for a Southern District 7 2A battle on Monday, December 14. North Gaston will battle a Wolves team coming off a 52-38 league loss to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 1-1.

The Huskies (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders go into the Big South 2A/3A outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, South Point held off Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC), 58-50, in a non-league outing.
