South Dakota High School Basketball - DeSmet fells Clark/Willow Lake
January 2, 2024: Clark, SD 57225 DeSmet Bulldogs (DeSmet, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones (Clark, SD), 61-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, DeSmet upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Arlington (Arlington, SD) to play the Cardinals in a B Region 2 bout on Thursday, January 4. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Arlington won 60-36 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Madison, SD)
Next up, the Cyclones play the Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Clark/Willow Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 40-28 non-league loss to Warner (Warner, SD).
