The Palo Verde Panthers football team (Las Vegas, NV), was beaten 42-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Foothill Falcons (Henderson, NV)

The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV). The Longhorns come into the 5A Southern - Desert challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Legacy achieved victory over Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV), 18-15, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arbor View for a 5A Southern - Desert challenge on Friday, October 1. Palo Verde will meet a Aggies team coming off a 52-0 league loss to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Aggies record now stands at 4-2.
