December 22, 2023: Saginaw, MI 48603 The St. Mary Eagles (Lake Leelanau, MI) basketball nipped the host Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI), 42-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Francis (Traverse City, MI). The Gladiators go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, St. Francis was tipped by Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI), 32-22, in a league test.
The Chargers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Nouvel Catholic Central for a Tri-Valley - West II test on Friday, January 5.
