South Dakota High School Basketball - Huron tops Sturgis Brown
February 4, 2023: Huron, SD 57350 Huron Tigers (Huron, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), 67-54 in a league bout.
With the victory, Huron upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Yankton (Yankton, SD) to play the Bucks/Gazelles in a AA bout on Monday, February 6. The Bucks/Gazelles come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Yankton won 56-51 in their recent league bout against Riggs (Pierre, SD)
Next up, the Scoopers play the Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD) in a AA bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Sturgis Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 56-39 league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD).
