Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) and the visiting Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY), saw Magoffin County's basketball squad overcome Wolfe County by a tally of 65-46.

With the victory, Magoffin County improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Martin County (Inez, KY) to confront the Cardinals in a District 57 challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 10-2.
