Serra Catholic Eagles (McKeesport, PA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA), 28-14 in a league test.

With the win, Serra Catholic improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA) to confront the Rams in a WPIAL AA Allegheny test on Friday, October 14. The Rams go into the test with a record of 4-3. Ligonier Valley lost 24-18 in their recent league test against Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA)

With the loss, Yough moves to 2-5 on the season. The Cougars host Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA) to confront the Vikings in a WPIAL AA Allegheny test on Friday, October 14. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 3-4. Apollo Ridge lost 38-34 in their recent league test against Imani Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA)
