The Taylor Ducks basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Wimberley Texans to 82 in the Ducks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Ducks now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chaparral for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Taylor will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 87-78 non-league loss to Manor New Tech (Manor, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-5.

The Texans (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Porcupines enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Springtown was nudged by Aledo (Aledo, TX), 63-61, in a non-league contest.
